    Adhesive legging is very common with conventional application tapes. This frequently causes a sign maker considerable aggravation when either cutting or tearing the application tape. The new improved 'PerfecTear' tapes employ new technology which eliminates these annoying adhesive strings.

  • Less Material Waste

    In working with application tape, every signmaker will experience accidents. As a result, the application tape and often the vinyl have to be thrown away. With the improved 'PerfecTear' range, the application tape can usually be pulled apart even when adhesive touches adhesive.

  • Works Well Wet or Dry

    Many sign makers use application fluid during installation. These wet applications frequently result in a gluey mess with the paper disintegrating and the adhesive transferring to the vinyl graphic. When this happens, cleaning up is a time consuming chore. The unique new improved 'PerfecTear' adhesive stays on the tape instead of delaminating and transferring to the graphic.

Electrostatic Powder Coating Tapes

Single coated tapes with a pressure sensitive adhesive. They are chemical resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 240C which are typically used for curing epoxy and polyester based powder coatings.

Duct Sealing

The long ageing properties of Aluminium Foil Tape with acrylic adhesive and its resistance to heat make it the ideal choice for sealing air ducts.

PVC Insulation Tapes

PVC Insulation Tapes are flame retardant, self extinguishing and offer good conformability. This makes them ideal for cable and wire insulation. Heat shrink tubing is used for insulation and sealing of low voltage cables. Various grades are available for general purpose and more heavy duty applications.

Abrasion Resistant Tapes

Self adhesive polyurethane film tapes protect surfaces which are subject to high abrasion or corrosion.

These tapes are used to protect leading edges on aircraft from damage and wear during flight or on racing cars moving at high speeds.

 

Glass Cloth Tapes

Glass cloth tapes are used for high temperature insulation applications and provide a heat stable seal. These tapes have a thermosetting adhesive for applications up to and in excess of 180C.

Electrical Shielding Tapes

Electrical , Electronics and PCB Manufacture EMI Shielding tapes (Electro-Magnetic Interference) are designed for applications requiring reliable point-to-point contact, particularly EMI/RFI (Radio Interference) shielding, grounding and static charge draining.

There are a large range of tapes for EMI shielding with both conductive and non conductive adhesives.

 

 

 

 

 

PTFE and Teflon Tapes

A range of polyester tapes with high temperature silicone adhesives are available for masking off the connections prior to gold plating. High temperature masking tapes are used for roller tinning and wave soldering, the product choice is dependent on critical aspects of the circuit board i.e. temperature.

Protection of Boards during plating

Boards need to be protected during plating from fumes and splashes. Low tack transparent polyester tape is ideal for this application.
